its official miss earth has made a momentuous switch , the pageant is now a "KAPUSO" . in a few days the official signing will take place and the broadcast partner of miss earth for 2018 is GMA 7.

the goddesses of the earth will grace the network with a heart, the network that will love and care for miss earth like the prized possession it truly is. gma 7 is known to be the network that has the best platform for environmental protection and it reflects on its shows. there is a social responsibility that plays an important part in the way gma7 does its business. this makes it the perfect partner for miss earth, as gma 7 focuses a lot of its documentaries on environmental issuses and how we as citizens of the world can help protect it. it is the only network in the philippines that has a show primarily focused on environment , tourism as well as nature.i know miss earth has found a home where their niche is valued , appreciated and looked up to. gma 7 is also the network with the most groundbreaking ideas and concepts that are at par with the talents world television has to offer.

fresh , lovely and charming kirty sujeewon is the goddess from the paradise island of mauritius. amazing victory by kirty following several months of activities that culminated into her clinching the coveted crown last spetember 21st.

chile has one of the most active and established franchises for miss earth in south america. it has regional pageants that run activities throughout the year. the pageant is well supported by government agencies as well as private sponsors.the winner this year is pageant veteran antonia kristal figueroa who was a nonplacer in the previous international pageant she participated in. there were some gorgeous and competitive women who competed at miss earth chile 2018 pageant, i would have preferred to see fresh faces and new perspectives to win.who were equally deserving to be honest, but antonia won the pageant fair and square so let us support her in this new journey. i hope this time she will prove her strength and realize her full potential in the pageant that is fair , honest and non political.

congratulations are in order to nikhil anand , who never gave up on the uphill battle of acquiring the miss earth franchise. it took lots of effort on the part of nikhil to finally get the franchise which he has been trying to get for months. as you know india is one of the most populous country on earth and how the miss earth franchises are computed. welcome back nikhil, hopefully this time it will be a good run for you and for india at miss earth. theres more exciting stuff coming in the next few days, watch out you have not seen the end of the surprises yet.

now let us discuss what is happening to thailand, the new franchise applicant as i mentioned in my two previous posts , started out excellent , until an email was sent that turned off carousel. i hope the issue gets resolved , but one thing, miss earth will always be honest and does not give special treatment to anyone. they treat everyone special and the winners are decided by the judges with integrity and full accountability. no one can question the results in a court of law because miss earth has an independent auditing firm that tally the scores given by the judges during coronation night, something a lot of pageants do not have.miss earth fans should not be worried for one country, we have 80 plus ladies who are incredibly stunning, amazingly dedicated and intelligent competing for the crown. let us celebrate and appreciate them,the goddesses who worked very hard to get where they are now and whose dedication has put the miss earth name as the most relevant pageant in existence.let us not pine for a country that if you think about it, really is one of the biggest bashers for the pageant that we all love. no one country is indispensable , miss earth is group effort of all the countries to make a difference in our planet the only one we have . now let us watch the amazing eco videos of the miss earth goddesses highlighting the beauty of their countries, their projects as well as their natural charm and wit:
