the classic line " ONCE A MISS EARTH , ALWAYS A MISS EARTH" is something that runs through the heart of every queen who has competed at the miss earth pageant. the pageant creates a strong bond with its queens that even after the pageant is done they continue to be champions for the cause of fighting for the environment , promoting the unique brand of miss earth or just reconnecting with their earth sisters all over the world.

one such queen is miss earth australia 2016 lyndl kean, who has lived up to her title and is now a champion for the cause of saving orangutans in sumatra. lyndl has campaigned and helped  raise funds to help protect the rainforest which is the habitat of the orangutans. she travelled to sumatra and trekked the rainforest to observe the orangutans in person further appreciating the need to help them do not get extinct.she was chosen as the official ambassador of " THE ORANGUTAN PROJECT" for her tireless work and dedication in giving light to this cause.she is a true "beauties for a cause" and brings so much honor and pride to the miss earth brand.

miss earth queens never hesitate to go into rainforests and get dirty for a good cause. here is lyndl dressed down , no make up and ready to fight for the sake of the orangutans whose habitats are being destroyed to give way to palm plantations to produce palm oil.

lyndl recently initiated the special event " WILD PASSIONS " in sydney australia with the attendance of prominent environmentalists and conservation groups as well as news media and the fashion industry.it was hugely covered by the different news sites and social media pundits, raising lots of money to fund the orangutan project.

lyndl maintains a very successful modelling career all over the world doing print,advertising, runway as well as becoming an endorser of well estabished companies.she was recently featured on the pages of australian vogue , more than anything lyndl carries the miss earth brand on her shoulders with utmost pride and honor.
