one such queen is miss earth australia 2016 lyndl kean, who has lived up to her title and is now a champion for the cause of saving orangutans in sumatra. lyndl has campaigned and helped  raise funds to help protect the rainforest which is the habitat of the orangutans. she travelled to sumatra and trekked the rainforest to observe the orangutans in person further appreciating the need to help them do not get extinct.she was chosen as the official ambassador of " THE ORANGUTAN PROJECT" for her tireless work and dedication in giving light to this cause.she is a true "beauties for a cause" and brings so much honor and pride to the miss earth brand.

miss earth queens never hesitate to go into rainforests and get dirty for a good cause. here is lyndl dressed down , no make up and ready to fight for the sake of the orangutans whose habitats are being destroyed to give way to palm plantations to produce palm oil.

lyndl recently initiated the special event " WILD PASSIONS " in sydney australia with the attendance of prominent environmentalists and conservation groups as well as news media and the fashion industry.it was hugely covered by the different news sites and social media pundits, raising lots of money to fund the orangutan project.

miss earth being the most relevant pageant in existence, calls for a special woman to wear the crown. the most difficult pageant to win and the biggest responsibility a beauty queen can be given is being a miss earth. this calls for a heroine, someone who can stand up for mother earth and protect it from the evils of modern world.combatting climate change and promotion of ecoturism is the theme for the 2017 miss earth pageant, the most beautiful, the most intelligent and most dedicated girls are gearing up for the ultimate battle that will decide who is the most powerful heroine that can tackle the humongous responsibilty of becoming miss earth 2017.

each delegate will wear an earth warrior super hero costume to be highlighted during the opening number, a super hero name will also be chosen by each delegate to correspond to their eco tourism site or their cultural significance. there will be three preliminary judging criteria to be followed this year, first is figure and form, second beauty of face and poise , third is intelligence and environmental knowledge.

it will be a very exciting schedules for miss earth 2017, it will be 4 weeks long of fun, hardwork,sleepless nights and most memorable moments as the queens have to visit a lot of islands and destinations in the philippines.

miss earth 2016 katherine espin and michelle gomez are on their way to washington d.c. to participate in the hugely growing miss earth united states pageant. they are bringing with them the crown of miss earth fire 2016 corrin stellakis as they will be together for the first time, since corrin was titled the new miss earth fire. after that they will all travel to puerto rico to crown the comeback queen , after being absent for two years. katherine will also grace the coronation night of the queens of chile and her successor in ecuador, while michelle will head to colombia to crown the new miss earth colombia 2017. at some point they will go to new york and have an audience at the united nations office for discussion on future projects. a photoshoot for a US based magazine is also scheduled in new york for our queens. while stephanie de zorzi will be accompanied by a carousel staff for her trip to sri lanka.katherine and michelle will be back in manila on september 9 , to help laiunch miss earth 2017 pageant.

regarding the franchises, france is still in limbo, miss france org. said they will pariticpate next year as they could not find an appropriate delegate for miss earth this year. the miss nationale org. will see if they can complete the requirements and they will do another casting to choose another delegate. miss earth china used to be owned by a group, which unfortunately had disagreements and broke off last year, hence the two miss earth china candidates in 2016. so carousel has awarded the miss earth china franchise to yvonne and miss earth chinese taipei to the other group.scotland is open , former miss earth queens are gearing up to take on the challenge in growing the miss earth brand in scotland.belarus will debut for the first ime at miss earth 2017 ,with the gorgeous redhead polli cannabis.

england has chosen its green queen as well and it is another statuesque stunner all of 6 feet tall, charlotte brooke.

wales also chose another potential eco warrior winner, sophie bettridge has been doing realistic projects we can use in our everyday lives to help the environement. wales participation is not confirmed yet, pending completion of requirements by the national director.

2017 saw myanmar finally fulfilling its promise of creating a pageant exclusive for miss earth and they chose a worthy beautiful candidate tin sandar miyo.

japan recently elected a very pretty , charming and dedicated queen by the name of yasuyo saito. japan for the first time this year has conducted a nationwide search with pageants held in different cities , with some well established support from regional sponsors. well done to the national director osamu sakata for doing an exemplary job.

marcelo aguilera the new national director of argentina had his first pageant in one of the most iconic places in the world, el calafate in patagonia.the candidates experienced first hand one of the most beautiful creations of mother nature, the perrito moreno glaciers. blonde beauty fiorela hengemuhler won the right to represent argentina at miss earth 2017.

malaysia has crowned its queen, porcelain beauty cherish ng.

after months of competition, and multiple preliminary contests fabiana enrica barra emerged victorious at the miss earth italy pageant which is constantly improving each year.

earthlings are very happy and celebrating because poland finally is back in the game with a very competitive candidate after serafina the national director staged a contest for miss earth. dominika szymanska is a major frontrunner with a great potential in bringing the miss earth crown back to europe.

the host delegate for 2017 is karen ibasco , she will welcome the delegates on october 8th as arrivals commence. karen is a nonconventional beauty , but she is blessed with enormous knowledge about the environment and is an amazing spokesperson. she will literally blow your mind the moment she speaks.
