this has been such a great miss earth venezuela season , the ladies are topnotch quality with so many of them who can win this title. the activities focused more on environmental aspect as well as charitable activities, knowing venezuela right now is in crisis. that is how you honor a title, despite the crisis in venezuela, globovision,alyz henrich and prince julio cesar put up the most comprehensive pageant . they really are the standard bearer for giving credence and honor to the miss earth title, because this is the only pageant created for miss earth that could equal its other national pageant in terms of following, excitement, quality of contestants as well as production. while other countries in latin america are dropping miss earth , relegating them to appointees not even crowning during the night of coronation, miss earth venezuela gives the miss earth title the utmost importance , a prime spot ,top status, elite treatment . this despite the economic crisis, they give miss earth title the gold distinction it deserves to have. now let us go into my favorites for the crown. my top 4 are interchangeable meaning all of them can win the title , so anyone who is crowned im happy ....
miss earth lara : gabriela coronado - she has a very calm type of beauty , one that miss earth usually likes. it does not hurt that she looks like a filipina , thanks to the indiginous indians from venezuela who technically came from asia. her beauty might appeal to the mostly filipino panel of judges.
miss earth guarico : michell castellanos - the superstar of this batch and the media darling. she makes no secret from the very start of the pageant , she only wants miss earth. even if most of the venezuelan sites were pushing her for supranational, she was very insistent she only wants to be miss earth. even in her judges interview, she said she joined to be miss earth. she is gorgeous,no question about her beauty and physique, add to that she is also very dedicated and at the same time humble. she is intelligent both mentally and emotionally and knows very well what kind of pageant is miss earth. she is coming in ready and prepared to be miss earth, she speaks english as well.
miss earth monagas : andrea cesin - she has one of the most beautiful faces in this batch, she has a nice feminine body although on the shorter side her presence just screams charisma. very charming, globovision might like her as one of its correspondents. im a bit worried since she didnt do very well in her judges interview, hopefully her other strengths would bring up her scores that would make her enter the top.
miss earth miranda: stefany zreik - this lady is also very determined to win a crown tonight. she came all the way from madrid ,spain to compete for this pageant and once she got in, first thing she did is to improve herself which included cosmetic procedures.she has a very fresh girl next door aura that is very endearing. another one of venezuelan media and pageant enthusisasts favorite to win.
the rest of my top 10 was a very hard decision, had to revise it several times, but i just went with who i liked and did not try to be influenced by venezuelan media and fans. if i had listened to them canaima, nueva esparta would have been on this list. i liked them too but i liked these girls more...
trujillo - thea sichini has a very classy and mellow beauty, one of the faces of this years batch . she also has international pageant experience , her body has been pointed out by venezuelan pageant fans as the one that needed work the most. im sure if she wins she will be on board to take care of that .
tachira - maria laura lopez has been hyped even before the pageant castings were started. she is beautiful, prepared , well spoken and is a veteran competitor , so expect her to fight for one of the spots.
portuguesa - aleska cordido gave one of the best interviews, she is strong,confident and has leadership qualities that could put her up among the top.great body , great stage presence and her face is a chameleon, very workable and versatile.
aragua - ana daniela mencia is a performer , a classic miss venezuela as she was trained by osmel. she also has an interesting personality that stands out from the rest of the girls. theres rumors she has been causing some trouble behind the scenes, well see if it affects her placement tonight.
yaracuy - barbara rodriguez is the best morena of this batch , this girl is stunning. if she is transformed with proper training and improvements cosmetically she can be a contender in any pageant. theres a reason prince julio cesar picked her from miss carabobo pageant even if she wasnt in the top. she is a raw beauty with so much potential. watch her interview, she was so adorable, crying continuously as she was nervous.
barinas- andruina carrera started very strong but fizzled a bit at the last stretch. prince julio likes her a lot, was even helping her a lot in her interviews but she was just too nervous. i find her really pretty though , she has delicate feminine features and her body also is different from a typical venezuelan , she has soft curves. elegant and always regal in bearing, i love watching her throughout the competition.
watch the pageant tonight earthlings , it will be an exciting one starting out with the red carpet. now lets go to some juicy tidbits, phuong kahn nguyen miss earth 2008 will arrive in the philippines on september 8 to prepare for the upcoming pageant and do environmental activities. the candidate of thailand for miss earth 2019 is nampetch teeyapar, she was appointed by the new director for 2019, hopefully they can sustain it and organize a pageant next year as they are veterans in organizing a pageant. host of the finals will be james deakin , and shontelle might come back again this year as performer. ladies will still be divided into three groups, air ,water and fire. expect security to be tighter this year to avoid incidents that would make the girls uncomfortable.miss earth finals will be in naga city, bicol region at the JMR coliseum. the girls will arrive a week before the finals night to rehearse and do environmental activities all over naga city and camarines sur. press conference scheduled october 2nd at diamond hotel, arrival of candidates will commence september 26-29 thats when the bulk of them will arrive.they found someone for panama , it was the one who took over at the start of the year but lost contact somehow. they are back but still has not completed requirements but are in contact again. hungary has a new director , if he completes the requirements, everyone will be shocked as to why he decided to get hungary as he is not from this country. very handsome and young guy, he already has a candidate , pending completing requirements.let us see if he is able to send two girls this year, he was able to send a girl last year , now he plans to get two franchises. palawan is a go, it will be one of the destinations the ladies will visit, not sure if it will be san vicente, el nido or puerto princesa.
