a new year means new hopes, new dreams , new fields to conquer. miss earth is facing the new year with a very bright outlook forging bigger partnerships,  more meaningful cooperation and a chance to make a huge impact on the improvement of the dedication to protect our mother earth. this is also another chance to showcase the outstanding and unbeatable pageant that is miss earth , always copied but never surpassed being the best overall pageant in 2017 in all aspects of pageantry. 2018 will be another history making endeavour miss earth will surely break like always.

in 2018 karen will travel to vietnam together with owner miss lorraine schuck to participate in a special show and meeting of important officials.this commences the international trip of our winner for 2018 having already made an official trip to cambodia two weeks after she was crowned. many other trips have alrrady been planned with belgium on the list already but still for confirmation during summertime.miss earth air 2017 nina robertson will travel to western australia to perth where she will be a guest judge in a model search and fashion show.

when a door closes , a window opens , most of the time it opens up to a bigger more stable franchise. spain will be handled by a venezuelan team based in spain , and they will conduct an exclusive pageant for miss earth with regional and provincial representatives. this will be another alyz henrich /prince julio cesar in the making, im excited.marcel castellano  and d'yerlingd'jesus will work together and launch this new pageant which will hopefully open a new chapter for a stronger more stable miss earth franchise in spain.

guyana will be handled by dave lalltoo with a solid base of support from advocacy groups and government entity.

alyz henrich and prince julio cesar have  expressed securing the franchise already for 2019 and 2020 as 2018 has already been secured since 2016, so rest assured earthlings miss earth will again be the most talked about pageant in venezuela for 2018 much like what happened in 2017 where the initial miss earth veneuzela pageant broke records and even outshined the oldest most established pageant in venezuela for years.

miss earth ukraine 2017 diana mironenko is one dedicated earth warrior, she has always put her title into good use , and she has more plans to work for environmental causes throughout her reign.she participated in an advocacy group #5minutebeachcleanup where they promote the fact it does not take a lot of time to clean the beach, if everyone takes 5 minutes of their time to clean a part of a beach then it will make such a huge impact on our beaches.

miss earth indonesia 2017 michelle alriani has kicked off a campaign to plant 10,000 mangrove seedlings in 10 indonesian cities. this will help in preventin damage caused by strom surges during typhoons and cyclones saving property and thousands of lives.

miss earth india 2017 shaan kumar has coninuously worked as an earth warrior making her voice heard all accross her country and in asia to further bring to the forefront the cause of nature preservation.

miss earth usa 2017 andreia gibau together with other iss earth united states winners has travelled to nicaragua to help underprivileged villages and also promoting a sustainable lifestyle that in the end helps the village prosper as a community.

seriously i am now experiencing post pageant depression, after the wonderful and full of roller coaster ride emotions of miss earth 2017, its like i am longing for more miss earth ! i know there are currently ongoing pageants being staged, sadly even if you combine the activities of these three other pageants, it cannot hold a candle to the kind of activities the miss earth 2017 candidates went through. truly miss earth 2017 will be the pageant of the year, from the unparralleled activities, to the most beautiful and pleasant contestants, to the excitement it provided trending on social media everyday for one whole month, and of course the breathtaking pageant night which to me will be unbeatable in terms of production and enteratinment value. if i can , i would repeat the miss earth 2017 all over again , just to live out and experience pageantry at its very best.

miss earth candidates during the pageant makes real changes and actual work which inspires the communities they vist . no other pageant can make you feel more loved, more admired and you truly feel that you are a queen who is respected and revered. here is a small snippet of what it is the miss earth queens do , and the priceless experience as well as the invaluable inspirationand happiness miss earth queens bring to the people they are very fortunate to meet during the pageant. this made me so emotional , no other pageant in existence can tug you in the heart like miss earth does.

now i know you are waiting for some juicy behind the scenes of the pageant, well i have quite a lot! let us talk about the scores,the over all top scorer for the preliminary rounds which includes beauty of face and poise, figure and form, intelligence and environmental knowledge, plus the attitude, is none other than miss australia nina robertson.

nina is such a breath of fresh air, like everytime you see her its like a ray of sunshine envelops the area. the top scorer for figure and form is miss usa andreia gibau, which is definitely no surprise. andreia has curves in all the right places, lean where it needs to be lean, and slim where it needs to be slim.body is like well perfected sculpture of what everyone sees ideal and sexy.

the top scorer for beauty of face and poise is miss russia lada akimova, which to me made sense from the very start. i have been saying very early on lada has the most beautiful face of all the girls in the competition.she has such a baby doll face , soft features yet very remarkable, im glad the judges saw that even though she was not a favorite and ignored by most fans during the whole pageant. i knew she will place and get one of the crowns.

now for the intelligence and environmental knowledge, it was miss philippines karen ibasco who topped this round. this is karen's strongest point her intellect, dedication, passion and determination is what sets her apart from everyone else.

in the end karen took over the competition and used her greates weapon , trampling all the goddesses that everyone was cheering for. karen placed 4th overall in the preliminaries, she placed 1st for intelligence, 2nd in figure and form and 18th in beauty of face.

miss earth 2017 is the best pageant of 2017, no other pageant will beat its activities, excitement  and of course its breathtaking final night which till the very end kept everyone in tight excitement and socail media exploded after philippines won, it was the top trending topic for days even if the pageant was already done. when miss earth was done, pageantry excitement went downhill even with three of the other big 4 were ongoing.because of the unbelievable success of miss earth 2017 pageant many franchises are contacting carousel productions to send a contestant next year. just to clarify, miss universe thailand was the one who was in contact with carousel and adisorn was a partner only, but actual negotialtions was done by miss universe thailand org . for 2018 another company has already contacted carousel productions to stage an exclusive pageant in thailand for miss earth and will be televised on thailand's most popular channel. another country who has not sent a candidate for years , has requested to start the process of getting the franchise again after they saw how impressive the pageant was for 2017. several euorpean countries and pacific islands have also expressed to come back for 2018.
