in less than a month, miss earth goddesses will be start to filter into the philippines and cast a spell to everyone in the whole of pageantry. europe is coming with an armada of beauties who are more than ready to enchant everyone.one of those goddesses is margaretha de jong from the netherlands , she won over a very cutthroat competition with equally deserving dutch ladies.will margaretha be the one to bring back the miss earth crown to europe? i think she has a big chance, she is beautiful, great body , well spoken, dedicated and humble. she needs to be able to bring it onstage so that she can beat the formidable latinas in the stage chops department.i think margaretha is gunning for the main crown and she has a great team behind her , so i am confident she will do excellent.

miss beauty of the netherlands 2018 pageant was a megahit, it was a topnotch show with first rate production. it was a grand spectacle celebrating dutch beauty , creativity and talent. the pageant has become the biggest and most established pageant in the netherlands and the main winner goes to miss earth.it is under the expert management of miss earth netherlands 2007 milou vanhout verhoeks. she and her team has taken the miss earth netherlands title into new heights and successfully sealed its status as the prime and number one pageant in the netherlands.if you want to rewatch the show here is a link:

another european exclusive miss earth franchise bursting with so much impact and class is miss earth poland. francys sudnicka and her real life partner lukas szarnecki has launched miss earth poland big time, landing major sponsors and getting huge support from polish media industry. it is truly amazing to witness how on their first year they were able to group together very beautiful and oustanding contestants. they created a whole pageant experience that ran for months and prepared a week of pageant activities that the candidates truly enjoyed.it was broadcast via livetream worldwide and on polish television as well. the show was well put together, it was entertaining and was enjoyable to watch. the winner is aleksandra grysz, my favorite for the crown. so happy she won as i think she is the perfect combination of beauty, brains, body and lots of vibrant personality.she will be one of the flag bearers for the european continent and a crown is very much possible if she plays her cards right. she has one of the best bodies of this years edition, tall at 5'9"  she will ace the figure and form round, she is naturally beautiful and charming so beauty of face she will easily place. she speaks english and is very knowledgeable as well as hardworking so i know she will ace the intelligence round as well. watch out for aleksandra, she is one of the best delegates of 2018 no doubt.

another exclusive miss earth pageant happened early spetember , and it was from the land of the incas, peru.miss earth peru is a national search with pageants held in different provinces of peru. it was a great batch and the top 4 was really impressive. the winner jessica russo caused quite a stir and sensation as a lot of peruvian people were against her win owing to the fact she was raised in venezuela. but jessica is very much qualified to represent peru .her mother is from peru and she now resides in lima making fully eligible to join the pageant and represent peru internationally.

jessica will make the american continent a big headache for the judges as this group are saturated with super gorgeous and super prepared girls. it will definitely be a battle of goddesses in this region and jessica will be fighting for that coveted spot in the continental judging.she is fresh, lovely and has a radiant personality that can effect a lasting impression on the judges. her beauty is very likable and is very easy to relate to so she is a threat to the major favorites in the american region.

three balkan beauties were crowned recently ,castings were held in croatia and montenegro few months ago , the winners of the castings for both countries were announced during the miss earth bosnia and herzegovina 2018 pageant. three smoking hot bombshells were chosen, miss earth bosnia and herzegovina winner is nadja pepic, who has large shoes to fill after the alluring jelena karagic placed in the top 16 last year at the international pageant.im glad the directors have listened to the email that carousel sent few months ago asking the directors to choose a candidate that will fit the goddess theme. this after the early crowned girls that were chosen seem to be following what the winner last year represented.now 2018 is shaping up to be one of the most beautiful batch in miss earth recent history.nadja pepic miss earth bosnia and herzegovina 2018 is a brunette dynamo who oozes sexiness and undeniable appeal. 

montenegro will finally debut for 2018 in miss earth, the lovely girl who will have the honor of representing montenegro for the first time in miss earth is katarina seckovic. this 5'10 lithe beauty will try to capture the hearts of the earthlings all over the earth.

croatia will be represented by the voluptuous vixen monika horvat.gorgeous and smoking hot, no  doubt about that. she is a well travelled woman ,also friendly and such a sweetheart, miss earth fans will love to meet her.

miss earth austria 2018 is the ethereal and gentle beauty melanie mader. she is being sent by an organization in austria from one of the department of the united nations in vienna. the same organization who helped miss earth when it was held in vienna in 2015 and they facilitated the meetings and dialogue between miss earth and united nations back then.

the miss earth austria franchise has been with the miss earth austria corporation for two years now. for 2018 the owners have changed hands and there is an ongoing restructuring of the organization. they have told carousel productions that they will send a candidate in 2019 . miss earth franchises are renewed on a yearly basis unless you have secured the franchise for multiple years and paid in advance just like what venezuela and switzerland did. so this leaves the option for miss earth to look for another franchise director when miss austria corporation said they will skip this year while they are restructuring.carousel productions asked katia wagner miss earth austria 2013 and miss earth air 2013 winner if she could take the franchise,katia is very interested but she felt there was not enough time to establish a pageant with good partners this year . katia wants to do it and she wants to do a great job with it so she felt she needed more time to actually scout for partners and sponsors so she will have an amazing pageant. 

so when the united nations group offered to take up the franchise for 2018 and presented melanie mader carousel productions accepted. melanie mader is a wonderful delegate for austria, she deserves this chance and is just as worthy as any other girl to place and get a crown. she has a quiet cool prettiness that is very soothing to the senses. she is also a humble and works very hard for what she wants, go melanie!!!!

let us see which group gets the franchise in 2019 , battle of franchises for miss earth in austria?  the giant of africa has chosen its green goddess for 2018, maristella okpala wins the title of miss earth nigeria 2018. another exclusive pageant for miss earth , africa is shaping up to be a competitive batch this year .

maristella okpala is beautiful, tall and smart woman, she will be in a good position to take one of the spots alloted for the african continent.

miss earth australia has crowned its winners and its queen for 2018 is monique shippen , talented musician and a beautiful mix of east and west cultures. she is like the sister of last years miss earth australia nina robertson , both have lovely soft eurasian features. will she have the same fate as nina or she will go all the way for the main crown, let us wish monique the best of luck!!!

natasha fernando was crowned miss earth sri lanka 2018. the exotic beauty won the pageant which recetly underwent a make over to make it more modern and more appealing to the younger generation. congratulations natasha!!!

celeste cortesi is really making a big splash in the entertainment industry, something previous miss earth queens have been unable to penetrate. she snagged a major cosmetic endorsement, she has been sought out to model for different brands, now another big surprise is she has been cast to star in an international movie to be filmed in hollywood in the usa. production is set to start in 2019 in los angeles , this will depend on her fate on november 3rd if she will be allowed to film the movie .this girl is truly groundbreaking, she provides a different strength , a new facet for miss earth, a true certified goddess.

now let us go into the news tidbits i know you all are waiting for, thailand the country fans are watching with bated breaths as to who will be their earth goddess. well the director carousel was talking to for months has been dilly dallying in fulfilling the requirements, so as of last week it seemed thailand will be absent for 2018. but surprise another previous miss earth queen might save the day for thailand, she was contacted by carousel and voila she wanted to take the franchise. she is a bit worried though since the time is too short , so she was given a go signal to appoint. i think miss earth has finally found the perfect partner in making a stable miss earth franchise in thailand,let us support her , we have an advocate for miss earth that can develop the franchise and make it grow in the land of smiles. eiam watsaporn wattankoon, you can do it babe, we are all here to support you and very proud of you. if things go into plan eiam will take the 2018 and 2019 franchise, that in itself is a testament eiam means business.

after winning miss earth water title in 2010 eiam has become an established host and actress in thailand. she has a lot of connections in the media industry in thailand and she knows how pageants run as she has experienced being a queen herself. her brother will be helping her in this endeavour , miss earth fans let us wish them the best and help them.

previous miss earth queens have taken upon themselves to take up the franchises in their countries and it has been proven they are the most dedicated and most successful ones. they know what miss earth stands for and it is that unique connection that binds them to make it flourish. previous miss earth queens have done an exemplary job in progressively making the miss earth brand grow in their countries except of course that one queen from czech republic!!!! the original candidate egypt was supposed to send will not be able to make it due to passport problems, her new passport will be released in late september , too late for her visa to be processed. let us hope mostafa elezali will be able to find a good replacement for her.pakistan candidate is 27 years old , she was not accepted, carolina frias of switzerland will be replaced as well due to same reason being overaged.and yes the 90 candidates ceiling still stands , the reason is actually very simple, if you fans are smart enough you will know,expect the candidates to be at least 80 plus this year, thats the goal.negotiations are ongoing for the finals night performer, he is an american r&b star, the clue name starts with a B.there you go earthlings,thats it for now, meanwhile let us watch the eco videos:

like what i said, new national director mostafa elezali has chosen a very beautiful egyptian queen. she is rowida qassem , lovely face with ravishingly haunting clear eyes.

hungary will be represented by actress reka lukacs, as what i have said in my previous post, it is a new franchise holder for 2018 as the previous franchise holder was unable to complete the requirements. miss earth does not wait on anyone, so let us welcome reka and the new franchise holder to the miss earth family.

cameroon is gunning for a back to back placement with the statuesque model audrey monkam represent this african country at miss earth 2018.

curacao will come back  for 2018  after missing for almost four years. this paradise carribbean nation will be represented curvaceous beauty alexandra atalita.she is a certified earth advocate and a woman who knows what she wants and makes them a reality. she has been a nature lover  and has worked a lot of projects that benefit the environment.

miss earth colombia happened few weeks ago, their prepageant activities were good. environmental activities as well as eco tourism were highlighted throughout the pageant. several international beauty queens were also invited to grace the pageant including miss earth 2017 karen ibasco.national directors paul marsell from mexico and cesar anel were also present .

kudos to miss earth colombia 2017 juliana franco for working so hard in trying to spread the message of environmental protection in her country and the whole latin america.she really did a splendid job during her whole reign.

in my humble opinion , the final show was a let down, it needed major improvement. it felt like a small town pageant rather than a national pageant.considering how big pageants are in colombia, that means the market has not been properly tapped.  i think partnering with a tv station will work wonders on growing the miss earth brand in colombia.i hope the miss earth colombia team can do this,market the pageant to tv channels, i support them in making the miss earth brand known in colombia. the new miss earth colombia is valeria ayos.

on september 7, three baltic countries will crown their earth goddess for 2018. miss earth bosnia and herzigovina, miss earth croatia and the debut of miss earth montenegro. im excited to see because bosnia and croatia always send very competitive girls to miss earth and i know this year will be no exception.

miss earth poland will also stage their inaugural pageant under new director francys sudnicka. she is doing a fantastic job with a tv network broadcast, lots of sponsor support and what a stunning group of girls competing for the crown. 

the miss earth poland has become a full fledged thriving pageant with fun filled activities as well as tv appearances for the girls.so proud of francys and her partner lukas szarnecki , and this is just their first year. looking forward for miss earth poland to expand its reach in the coming years, i am very positive it will.my top two favorites are aleksandra grysz who has a very sunny aura and bubbly personality perfect for miss earth and patrycja sobolewska who has the face of a goddess, she is without a doubt the most beautiful of the girls this year.

another miss earth stronghold in europe is miss earth slovenia, its one of its most established exclusive pageant. it has been steadily fluorishing throughout the years and is the most established beauty pageant in slovenia.they have activities that go for almost 6 months and the winner receives robust amount of prizes.the new slovenian earth goddess will be crowned on september 15th, my favorite for the crown is danijela burjan.

now let us go into the tidbits miss earth fans come here for, the miss earth 2018 host will still be james deakin. let us all hope boracay island will be ready in time for miss earth, the construction is full blast but we will see if it will be ready for the girls to go at the end of october.

as for the semifinalists, a production meeting is going to be happening soon where it will be decided if it will be a top 16 or top 18  to be called on the finals night. the semifinalists will be chosen by continental judging , let us hope they bring back the 2016 selection , where the top 8 scorers make the semifinalists and the rest of the 8 were chosen via continents.let us voice our opinions to carousel as this for me is the fairest way of choosing the top 16.but as of now, it will be via continental judging, i still think 2016 has the best set of semifinalists due to the fact the strongest 8 girls really made it and not cut off prematurely due to the limited spots in the continental judging.remember if the full continental judging was applied in 2016, the eventual winner katherine espin would have not made the top 16 and one other elemental winner which im not going to mention.

many of you earthlings have always wondered when will the candidates reach over 90 or even over 100, well there is a reason why it has not reached those numbers. carousel limits the amount of candidates they accept every year. the maximum they accept is 90 and nothing over that. i hope they will make adjustments this year but apparently it will still remain the same for 2018, so expect the number of candidates to be 80 plus for 2018.

scotland and wales will field candidates this year, it will be a different organization from years past.austria and sweden are still pending, it will depend if there will be back outs if it reaches 90 confirmed then they will have to be cut off. but there are new franchise holders interested to send for austria and sweden. miss austria corporation changed owners and management this year and they decided to send a candidate in 2019 instead.lithuania will possibly send a candidate in 2019, she is very stunning too, she was supposed to compete this year unfortunately she had modelling assignments already booked from months before that will coincide with the dates of miss earth 2018.for india we will know next week as to who will be able to complete the requirements to be franchise holders of miss earth in india for three years. yes the contract offered is for three years. nicole faria miss earth 2010 was approached by carousel and she is interested , nikhil anand the previous franchise holder in 2015 expressed his desire to reacquire the franchise , let us see who carousel will announce next week as the official franchise holder.

as for the panama trip of karen and juliana it was cancelled and the panama director discussed it with karen as well as colombia director when he was in bogota for miss earth colombia finals. he said he will invite karen instead in mid september with two other international beauty queens. let us just wait if this will really happen and not expect too much.

bulgaria will also come back this year, as for iceland two directors actually contacted carousel to send a candidate this year, but it was miss universe iceland org .who confirmed and completed requirements first so they got the franchise. the original girl they were supposed to send felt she was not ready for a big international pageant with the limited time , so expect another candidate from iceland.

everyone is already excited, its about a month until arrivals yet it is already the most talked about pageant in social media. no matter what bashers do, miss earth will always be a pageant to watch out for every year and you cannot pay your way or sabotage your way into making that happen in your pageant. miss earth hasa very solid strong fan base that is top 2 in the whole world.
